Presently, we are confronted with a Socialist President and Socialist Congress tending ever more toward federal ownership of banks and other formerly private industries. In the true form of Socialists and Communists seeking to control our country, they are proclaiming that those opposed to such change, are motivated racially or are simply opposed to America.
Certainly there are those who are not privileged and maybe haven’t significant chance of accomplishment. Among those, however, there inevitably will be some exceptional people who will aspire anyway.
The question we are faced with is whether such people should be allowed to so aspire, as much as they can, or whether to, as the President said, “redistribute wealth”. That is, to take from the rich and give to the supporters of the Socialists. Clearly Franklin Raines, Jim Johnson, and others, who are the prime causes of the world economic crises, benefit greatly and seemingly enjoy the protection of the President and Congress. We can allow this or we can honor the original intentions of the framers of our great Nation’s Constitution, and allow each person to keep what they have rightfully earned.
The Nation is now so completely divided and polarized on the subject that I do not see that the matter can be resolved easily, peaceably in a civilized manner. Such uncivilized situations have accosted in our Nation before. Many survived those dark days, and the Nation, for a while, moved on to become the envy of the world. That envy is likely the greatest cause of the problems we face today.
We are impeded from returning to the traditional ways of our peoples by ignorance, fear and laziness.
People are not aware of the consequences of what they are allowing; to the extent they even welcome the change. The leaders of this movement certainly are not forthcoming, nor will they be forthcoming until they have so much control that they cannot possibly be opposed, and, maybe, not even then.
The American people are of such heart and charity that they would share freely and equally and condemn those who would not share. Traditionally, Americans have greeted people seeking refuge from oppression with open arms. Unfortunately, these people’s most noble convictions, even the unwitting people themselves, are the tools of those seeking to conquer our United States. What those people feel that they ought to share, is not theirs to share.
Those who have the insightfulness to see the onslaught of Socialism darkening America’s future, are bound and shackled by some fear of being labeled “racist” or “un-American”. In some cases, the fear of not being re-elected plagues the statesmen we need to stand firmly on American principals.
We might be concerned for those few, who in the future, would otherwise rise from meager existences to flourish in prosperity, because prosperity is not a feature of this new Socialism. This is the current will of many in our Nation: that those who have not, and have had naught for so long, that they finally shall have, and that those who have had, and who have been privileged, shall have no longer. However noble, this concern pales as selfish and self-centered.
We might more righteously be concerned for how the technologies that those great Americans, who have come to us and gone before us, have provided us, that made us victorious in the past. How will those be used? Will those resources be used to impose this Socialism on the rest of the world? Isn’t that they very thing Americans have opposed for centuries?
Again we are to be tested.
Before God becomes an outlaw of the state, let us pray "Heaven help us through this".
